Will you be in the general vicinity of Melbourne, Australia tonight? Are you bereft of plans for the evening? Does attending an excellent event put on by three ace literary magazines with the help of one ace literary festival sound like the kind of thing you’d be into? If you answered ‘yes’ to all these questions, then guess what: you should come to our Late Night Lit: Cult Friction event!
We’ve partnered with our good friends at the Emerging Writers’ Festival and fellow literary magazines Fireflies and Archer to bring you an evening of readings that pay homage to the underground, with tributes to cult writers, films and music from the fringe.
TLB will be represented by Paola Balla and Jennifer Down, and former TLB editor Ellena Savage and longtime TLB pal Justin Wolfers will also be reading, alongside hopefully-maybe-soon-to-be-new TLB pals Cinnamon Templeton and Bobuck Sayed, whose work sounds just as excellent as anyone else’s on this ludicrously good lineup. What we’re saying is: this event is going to be great for reasons both TLB- and non-TLB-related, and you should totally come if you can.
It’s on at 1000 £ Bend, 361 Little Lonsdale St, Melbourne, at 9pm sharp, and it’s free, free, free.
